• Flugzeugträger der Welt. Alle Schiffe seit 1990

Aircraft carriers are the kings of the seas. After their first, sometimes adventurous attempts during the First World War, they played a decisive role in determining the outcome of the Second World War. Today, more and more states are relying on the floating universal weapons.
Stefan Ulsamer, publisher of the journal Navy Ops, provides an overview of the world’s active aircraft carriers, from the US Nimitz class and the Russian Admiral Kuznetsov class to the ships of the Royal Navy. The ships and their operational profiles are presented on the basis of impressive, partly unpublished photographs.
With 433 b/w and colour pictures.
